Alumax Boats will deliver a new aluminum fireboat to the Belgian Rivierenland firefighting district (including Mechelen). This is a first for Alumax because never before has the Meppel boat builder supplied a model from the Bullit series to a foreign corps.

The aluminum fireboats from the Bullit series are now used by various safety regions in the Netherlands, including Friesland, Overijssel, Gelderland and Utrecht, for calamities on and near the water. The possibilities that Alumax offers with the high-speed Bullit series have also become known abroad. The Rivierenland fire brigade – which consists of eighteen Flemish municipalities – then lit the light with one of its Dutch colleagues who shared their experiences with their vessels.

The aluminum fireboat being delivered is the Bullit 660 powered by a 150 hp Suzuki engine.
